Mural installation!

The mural installation took place over three days in January 2020
Thank you to our assistants, Jenni Hinch and Leanne Cocker from the Devonport Mosaic Group, Birgitta Magnusson-Reid, Ana, Holly and Harriet.


tiles were unwrapped and laid out on a sheet so we could choose the larger ones to begin with.


Here is our blank wall!

Lyn begins to place the first tiles on the wall. We are pretty excited to be at this stage and be able to do the installation.

Harriet the expert tile-slicer, made thin strips for the border of the mural.

Here it is with the installation, complete, except for a bit of Grouting to do.
